Onboarding Wizard

The first time you log into the app, or if you return after not completing the wizard, the app will take you through a getting started wizard to link your contribution account, perform an initial Top up, link your spending account and choose your SuperCents settings.

Link a Contribution Account

SuperCents contributions are transferred from the contribution account into your Intrust Superannuation Fund via the SuperCents app.

You are not legally entitled to use a credit card account for your contribution account. A debit card only may be used. Only one contribution account can be linked at any one time.

To Link a Contribution Account

  1. Enter the card details into the relevant fields. If any fields are left blank an error message will be displayed.
  2. Click Authorise.
  3. An error message will be displayed if any of the details are incorrect and you will be returned to the screen to re-enter your details.
  4. The system will confirm the log in details. This may take several minutes.

Once complete, if doing this as part of the wizard, you will be requested to authorise an initial Top up to confirm the debit card is valid and working.

To Change an Existing Contribution Account

  1. Click on the gear icon on the overview screen to access the Settings page.
  2. Select Contribution Account.
  3. Click on the Change Contribution Account button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Follow the steps outlined in the above section to link a contribution account.
  5. Click the X button at the top right corner of the screen to return to the contribution account screen and cancel this process.

Link a Spending Account

A spending account is used to track and calculate SuperCents contributions. No money is transferred to or from the spending account.

All transactions within a spending account will be rounded up to make your super contributions. This includes: deposits, transfers and spending amounts.

To Link a Spending Account

  1. Search for and select the financial institution where you have a current spending account (for example a credit card provided by Commonwealth Bank).
  2. In the log in screen, enter your internet banking Username / Account ID and the Password for the selected institution. This must be done exactly as it would be if you were logging in to that institution's internet banking site.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. The system will confirm the log in details. This may take several minutes.
  5. An error message will be displayed providing you with directions should the account confirmation fail for any reason.
  6. If more than one account is located for this financial institution you will be given the option to select the account you wish to track.
  7. The system will link to the account selected. This may take several minutes.
  8. Once complete, if doing this as part of the wizard, you will now be asked to set your SuperCents settings (Choose how to Round up).

SuperCents Settings

Once you have successfully set-up your contribution and spending accounts, the last step in the getting started wizard is to confirm how to round up. These settings can be changed later from the Manage SuperCents screen.
