Collection of Personal Information and Use of Personal Information
Moneysoft collects your information including your name and email address (including, without limitation, information from third parties such as other financial institutions) (“Personal Information”) and may use your information for the following purposes:
to provide you information about a product or service;
to consider your request for a product or service;
to provide you with a product or service;
to tell you about other products or services;
to assist in arrangements with other organisations (such as loyalty partners) in relation to the promotion and provision of a product or service;
to perform administrative and operational tasks (including for Moneysoft staff training and market or customer satisfaction research); and
as required by relevant laws, regulations, codes and external payment systems.
Moneysoft uses your Personal Information to provide you with the Software and Web Application.
Moneysoft to (and / or the Service Provider) may use, sell, license, distribute and disclose to third parties non sensitive, non personal, aggregated information obtained in relation to Moneysoft.
Aggregated information may contain non-personal account information or data, but it does not contain personal information that could be used to identify you. Examples of aggregated information might include the number of people who use aggregation and the type and account numbers that are aggregated.
Moneysoft may provide your Personal Information to an alliance partner for the purpose of promoting or using its products or services (and any of its outsourced service providers); regulatory bodies, government agencies, law enforcement bodies and courts; other parties Moneysoft is authorised or required by law to disclose information to; participants in the payments system (including payment organisations and merchants) and other financial institutions (such as banks) whether locally or overseas. In the event that Moneysoft provides your information to an overseas financial institution Moneysoft will notify you and seek your consent before it discloses your personal information to an overseas financial entity.
Where you do not want Moneysoft or Moneysoft’s alliance partners to tell you about their products or services, you may withdraw your consent by contacting us via the details set out below.

Anonymity and Pseudonymity
You are able to anonymise yourself or create a pseudonym in becoming a user of the Moneysoft Software and Web Application. If you use a pseudonym, the only Personal Information we collect from you is your email address, but if you cannot be identified from your email address we do not collect any Personal Information from you.
You are able to opt out of any direct marketing communication Moneysoft may send you by following the procedure set out in that communication from Moneysoft.
Cross Border Disclosure of Personal Information
To enable Moneysoft to provide the service, Moneysoft may provide your information to an outsourced service provider. Personal Information that is collected by Moneysoft may be disclosed to an outsourced overseas service provider (including in the United States of America). Personal Information set out in your account nick names and transaction references may be disclosed to such overseas service provider.
Moneysoft has an obligation to use reasonable endeavours to ensure that overseas service providers comply with Australian Privacy Laws. Moneysoft will not be complying with this obligation with regard to any Personal Information in account names and transaction references. You acknowledge and consent to the use of the use of your Personal Information in this manner.
Any outsourced service provider of Moneysoft does not have access to any other Personal Information of a User of the Moneysoft Software and Web Application.
If Moneysoft receives any unsolicited Personal Information it will immediately destroy such information unless it would have been entitled such information.
Security of Personal Information
Moneysoft maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your personal information held by Moneysoft.
The Moneysoft database is physically protected at a secure, third party site and is monitored by security personnel twenty-four hours a day. Only authorised personnel can access the data centre, and they must submit to multiple forms of identification.
Information you receive can be deleted. Once you delete, this cannot be reversed. This information is erased. You will need to re-enter this information.
You must be the owner of the account to receive activity and transaction information. If so, you are by default the owner of the information. This is a privacy and security implementation measure as Moneysoft does not request your name, address, date of birth, tax file number or any other personal information that identifies you.
You can only receive daily activity information including; date, description of transaction, amount, balance.
You do not pay from, transact, transfer or deal with any physical money within Moneysoft.
Account ownership is determined by entering the correct requested identifier information to connect you to the nominated account and gather the daily activity information and deliver to your Moneysoft account that you have authorised and requested.
Information you share with a nominated third party strictly is at your control at all times and can be changed at any time by visiting your Moneysoft settings page.
Access and Correction
If you can show that that your Personal Information held by Moneysoft is not complete and up to date (where available), Moneysoft must take reasonable steps to ensure it is accurate, complete and up to date.

Moneysoft will not collect sensitive information about you, such as health information, tax file numbers, and other government identifiable information, your date of birth, your phone number(s), address, pin numbers or any other information that may be used to link your accounts to the Moneysoft Software and Web Application.

In these Terms, Moneysoft means Moneysoft Limited ABN 86 152 058 627. Moneysoft operates its services integrated or used in conjunction with whether as a full or part version including through an API or link to www.moneysoft.com.au and https://secure.moneysoft.com.au.
